About Dr. Sharma
Dr. Shital Sharma is a double board certified foot and ankle surgeon whose work spans minimally invasive procedures through to complex reconstruction, trauma and total ankle replacement. Patients describe being guided through a long and complicated process with confidence — one wrote that the results were ‘truly amazing’ and that thank you did not feel like enough.
She serves as Program Director and Department Chair of the CarePoint Health Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency, where she oversees the training of thirteen residents, and she is certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, with added qualification in wound care. Dr. Sharma speaks English, Spanish, Hindi and Gujarati, and sees patients at eight offices across New York and New Jersey — more than any other doctor in the practice.
