About Dr. Meehan

Dr. Patricia Meehan taught science before she practised medicine, and it shows in how she explains a diagnosis. She treats the full range of foot and ankle problems — heel and arch pain, fractures, bunions, nail and skin conditions, diabetic foot care and wound care — and patients describe her as kind, thorough, and generous with information. One wrote simply that she felt lucky to have found her.

Dr. Meehan completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, with additional certification in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Before joining the practice she cared for at-risk patients in Harlem and home-bound patients across Long Island, with a focus on diabetic foot care and limb salvage. She sees patients in Manhattan, Kew Gardens, New Rochelle and New Hyde Park.
