Kevin E. Wright, MD
Orthopedic Surgery · Hand & Upper Extremity

About Dr. Wright
Hands are unforgiving of a rushed repair, and Dr. Kevin Wright treats them accordingly. He specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery — carpal tunnel release, tendon repair, fracture reconstruction and arthritis care — and patients regularly comment that he talks them through each step before it happens, including what an injection will feel like and how he plans to keep it comfortable.
Dr. Wright completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU's Hospital for Joint Diseases and a hand and upper extremity fellowship at Upstate Medical University and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. He also serves as a panel physician for the New York State Athletic Commission. He sees patients in Manhattan, Kew Gardens, Astoria, Staten Island, New Hyde Park and Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

What patients say
Dr. Wright is a PHENOMENAL doctor. His knowledge and skill is exceptional. Dr. Wright is extremely courteous, and empathetic, he treats and communicates with you as a caring person, not just as a doctor treating a patient.
I went to Dr. Wright for joint treatment. Dr. Wright explained the medicine he was going to inject, and the pain killer to numb the area before he injected the medicine, so I would feel minimal pain.
I highly RECOMMEND DR. KEVIN WRIGHT.
Dr. Wright took his time with me and was very patient. He corrected my injury and listened to my concerns.
